The NOZ 3.3 is a member of the Perfect Fluid Guide family of products. This size is generally for wheels above ten inches in diameter. Read more about it here.

It is a coolant nozzle designed to provide coolant from from the sides of the grinding site. This aids in swarf removal and cleaning which can lead to better finishes. Traditional nozzles are often shadowed by the wheel itself, and allow for “recutting” of the swarf, and thus poor finishes. The Perfect Fluid Guide products were developed to improve the production of our world-famous PFG Stones. And they do so beautifully.

The multiple streams of coolant are focused on a point. The distance from the nozzle to the focal point is called the “focal length”. In this product, it is 3 inches, which is designed for 8- to 12-inch wheel diameters. The width of this nozzle is 3 inches, thus the type designator “NOZ 3.3”. It is compatible with 1/4-inch Loc-Line® and equivalent.

The name “NOZ” is derived from the word “nozzle”, but it’s more fun to say.
