If you create a product order, prior to payment you will be offered all the shipment options for the destination, size and weight you've chosen. If you would like to use a carrier or shipping speed that is not listed for your order, please ask before placing your order.
US orders have the advantage of automatically calculated rates for packages sent via UPS and USPS. This is reliable and simple.
We do not charge any sales tax. You do not need to provide us with a sales tax exemption certificate. Relax.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
All international orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), and you are responsible for settling that in your home country. We do our best to minimize the impact, but there is no way to handle it without great complexity (and cost).
The shipping cost you are shown at checkout is for a maximum box size of 10 x 8 x 6 inches, and up to ten pound weight. The shipment will be fully insured for the product value.
We have switched to using DHL Express Worldwide on all international shipments. If you need another method, please contact us.

NO EEI 30.37(a)
You may see this on your packing slip and Commercial Invoice. What is it??!?
When we ship internationally, we claim an exemption under “EEI 30.37(a)”, which refers to a U.S. Foreign Trade Regulation (FTR) exemption for low-value shipments, allowing exporters to skip filing Electronic Export Information (EEI) for goods where the total value for a specific commodity code (Schedule B/HTS) shipped from one U.S. Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) to one consignee on one conveyance is $2,500 or less, provided the items aren't subject to licensing or other restrictions.
This is a common way to reduce administrative burden for small international shipments, and we take advantage of it.

In-person pickups…
I have tried to create a shipping option which is basically “Hold for Pickup”. When I do create that option, it’s not long before I get an order from Antarctica choosing that option, erroneously. So, we have a new procedure. If you live in the area, and really want to pick up your order in Windham NH:
Place a normal order with normal shipping. Note your order number.
Use the Contact page to email me, and ask me to hold your order for pickup. Give me your order number, contact information, and thoughts about schedule. I will work with you to set the appointment.
After you pick up your order, I will refund 100% of your Shipping charges in the same manner you paid them.
In the unlikely event of a communications breakdown, your order gets shipped normally.
Local pickup does not happen very often, but I think this method is foolproof. And, if you really are in Antarctica, let’s talk.
