Dry Filament Campaign

The Quest for Dry Filament

First off, here is a hygrometer you can use as a reference standard in your operations… it costs around $30. It is an eval board for the Sensirion SHT 40 sensor. VERY good performance, extremely fast response time, accurate to 1.8% error, and useful down to 0% RH. Really. At DigiKey, Part Number 1649-SHT4XSMARTGADGET-ND. https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/sensirion-ag/SHT4X-SMART-GADGET/14318392

I have these in the store!

(I am also playing with the Adafruit Feathers, and a Sensirion SHT45 as an attached sensor. More on this to come…)

A fast-change Bambu Spool Dessicant Cartridge…

Click HERE for the 3MF file for the Bambu Spool Dessicant Cartridge.

(Please note that this is a REMIX of a design by EnRiON, from the Printables.com site. Linked HERE.)

Spencer scaled up the original design from a 50mm diameter to a close fit (55mm) for the Bambu Reusable Spool. Importantly, the flange on the screw-in cap was removed and replaced with two snap-in features calibrated for the width of the Bambu Reusable Spool.

This is the indicating dessicant (silica gel) which we use and re-use: https://amzn.to/43MiQih

We store filament spools in these containers, with dessicant: Sterilite Ultra-Seal 4.7 Quart Bowl, Clear Lid & Base with Rocket Red Gasket, 4-Pack - https://amzn.to/3oRl15m

Adafruit ESP32-S3 Rev TFT Feather Development Stand

This are the STL files for the BACK of the stand, and the FACE of the stand (P2).

HERE is the 3mf file for Bambu, ready to print. I used Tough PLA.

The screws are SHCS, 2.0mm and 2.5mm. McMaster-Carr links added.

This is a two-piece glue-together design. I use a thickened CA glue, linked elsewhere.
